Wisconsin Lutheran 62, West Bend West 36

Three weeks after a narrow, shorthanded road victory over the Spartans, the Vikings were at full strength in front of a loud Winter Festival crowd to take on West Bend West in the rematch, and Wisco wasted no time in jumping all over the Spartans en route to a 62-36 victory.

The Vikings racked up an incredible 17 steals on the evening, and many of those led to quick points on the other end. Wisco's defensive effort fueled a 7-0 run in the first quarter, an 11-0 run later in the quarter, and a 15-0 run spanning the second and third quarters. Flavien Davis' deep three pointer capped the last of those runs and made the score 41-12 just a few minutes into the second half. The Vikings' bench held their own against West's first squad the rest of the way, as Wisco was not outscored in any of the 4 quarters and held the Spartans to fewer than 10 points in three of the four stanzas.

Flavien Davis led the Vikings with 23 points in just 16 minutes of action. He scored 18 in the first half to stake Wisco to a big halftime lead. He also added 4 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 deflections. Terry Nash added 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, and JJ Krueger added 4 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

The next game for the Vikings is on the road at Slinger, on Thursday, February 18. Wisco can clinch at least a tie for its 5th straight WLT championship with a win.
