Wisconsin Lutheran 69, West Bend East 43

The visiting Suns got off to a start befitting their name Friday night, shooting 63% in the first period to take a two-point lead into the quarter break. But the Vikings began the second quarter with a 10-0 run and never relinquished the lead after that. Another 10-0 run to start the third quarter proved to be the decisive blow, as Wisco was never threatened after that. In the fourth quarter, the Viking bench showed its skills, pushing the lead to 29 points before coasting home with a 63-49 win.

Flavien Davis scored 19 of his game-high 25 points in the first half. He also added 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Jake Gordon had 3 assists and 3 steals to go along with his 9 points, Terry Nash scored 6 points, had 5 deflections, and handed out 4 assists for the Vikings, and Marcus Radue chipped in with 8 points in his first career start. 10 different Vikings scored points on the evening.

With the victory, the Vikings begin Wisconsin Little Ten Conference play on a winning note. Wisco continues WLT Conference play next Tuesday, December 8, when the Owls of Slinger come to town. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
