The hot shooting of the St. Joseph's Chargers was too much for the Vikings to overcome, as they fell, 73-56, in their final non-conference game of the 2009-2010 season. Flavien Davis kept Wisco in the game with 21 first-half points, and after being down 12 in the third quarter, the Vikings cut the Charger lead to 3 at 55-52 with just under 6 minutes to play. But St. Joseph's played efficient offense and knocked down all 12 of their free throws in the final quarter to pull away for the victory. For the game, St. Joseph's shot 59% from the field, including 71% in the second half, as they displayed uncanny marksmanship on their jump shots.
Flavien Davis led the Vikings with 31 points. Terry Nash and Tim Rotruck each added 9 for Wisco, who did manage to outrebound the Chargers. Davis led the Vikings with 8 rebounds.
The next game for Wisco is at West Bend West on Thursday, January 21.
