Wisconsin Lutheran 61, Slinger 37

The Vikings drained a season-high eight three-pointers and held Slinger to fewer than 10 points in three of the four quarters to post a 61-37 victory and move to 3-0 on the season. Wisco jumped on the Owls early; a 10-0 run spanning the first and second quarters all but decided the outcome. The Vikings harassed Slinger into 18 turnovers and outrebounded them 33-21.

Tim Rotruck led the way for Wisco, scoring 13 of his 19 points in the first half. He also led the team in rebounds (7) and steals (3). Flavien Davis scored 14 points, the first two of which were good enough to move him into first place all-time in points scored at Wisconsin Lutheran. He added 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Marcus Radue knocked down two three-pointers and handed out 4 assists for the Vikings, who improved their conference record to 2-0.

The Vikings continue their busy December schedule with a trip to perennial power Wauwatosa East on Saturday, December 12. The freshman game begins at 4:15 PM (note the earlier time), the JV at 5:45 PM, and the varsity at 7:30 PM.
